Travel Itinerary
CUSCO - LAYO
Tour Start: 4:30 a.m.
Very early in the morning, our private transportation will pick you up at your hotel to begin a fascinating adventure to the new Rainbow Mountain, Pallay Puncho. We'll take the road that leads us toward Puno.
After a journey of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, we'll arrive in the city of Sicuani, where we'll enjoy a nutritious breakfast.
Subsequently, we'll continue our route toward Arequipa, then detour to the town of Layo, located on the shores of the impressive Layo Lake.
After a brief additional journey in our vehicle, we'll prepare to begin the hike.
ASCENT TO PALLAY PUNCHO
Upon getting off our transport, we'll begin a hike of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours, ascending a steep slope between majestic mountains, such as Apu Taqllo and Pallay Puncho, leaving the beautiful Layo Lake behind us.
Upon reaching the summit of the imposing Sharp Mountain Pallay Puncho, we'll delight in a spectacular panoramic view, where the mountain's colors contrast beautifully with the deep blue of the lake.
We'll enjoy adequate time to take incredible photographs and relax before the descent.
RETURN TO CUSCO
After the summit experience, we'll begin our return to our transport. Before departing, we'll make a brief stop to capture more panoramic views with Layo Lake as a backdrop.
Subsequently, we'll arrive again in Sicuani, where we'll enjoy a comforting lunch.
Finally, we'll begin our return to Cusco city. Our transport will drop you off at your hotel entrance around 8:00 p.m.
