📅CUSCO – LAYO

Tour Start: 4:30 a.m.

Early in the morning, our private transport will pick you up from your hotel to begin a fascinating adventure toward the new Rainbow Mountain, Pallay Puncho. We’ll take the road that leads to Puno. After a journey of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, we will arrive in the city of Sicuani, where we’ll enjoy a nutritious breakfast. We will then continue our route toward Arequipa, later turning toward the town of Layo, located on the shores of the impressive Layo Lagoon. After a short additional ride, we’ll prepare to start our hike.

📅ASCENT TO PALLAY PUNCHO

After getting off our transport, we’ll begin a hike of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours, ascending a steep slope among majestic mountains such as Apu Taqllo and Pallay Puncho, leaving behind the beautiful Layo Lagoon. Upon reaching the summit of the imposing Sharp Mountain Pallay Puncho, we’ll enjoy a spectacular panoramic view, where the mountain’s colors contrast beautifully with the deep blue of the lagoon. We’ll have time to take amazing photos and relax before descending.

📅RETURN TO CUSCO

After the experience at the summit, we’ll begin the return to our transport. Before departing, we’ll make a brief stop to capture more panoramic views with the Layo Lagoon as a backdrop. We’ll then arrive once again in Sicuani, where we’ll enjoy a comforting lunch. Finally, we’ll begin our journey back to the city of Cusco. Our transport will drop you off at your hotel around 8:00 p.m. Total tour duration: Approximately 4:00 p.m.
