📅Day 1: Sacred Valley + Aguas Calientes
Begin your journey with a delicious breakfast and get ready for a full-day excursion through the “Sacred Valley of the Incas.” We will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the charming town of Pisac, known for its colorful handicraft fair and historic market. Here, you will admire local crafts and experience the rich traditions of the town.
At midday, relax with a buffet lunch at a tourist restaurant, where you can taste a variety of Peruvian dishes. Then, continue the tour to the Inca Fortress of Ollantaytambo, a vast administrative, agricultural, military, and religious complex from the Inca Empire. Walk among its ruins and feel the history that surrounds the place.
Afterward, you will board a train to the town of Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, our representative will be waiting to guide you to your hotel and ensure everything is ready for your stay, and our guide will visit you at the hotel to provide details about the next day’s excursion to Machu Picchu.
📅Day 2: Machu Picchu Excursion
Start the day with an early breakfast and get ready for a unique adventure. Around 6:00 a.m., you will take a bus along a winding road to reach the Machu Picchu Sanctuary, known as “The Lost City of the Incas.” Here, you will enjoy the spectacular sunrise over the ruins and feel the energy of this wonder of the world.
The guided excursion through the Machu Picchu Sanctuary includes visits to the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Dial, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, and the ancient cemeteries. The tour lasts approximately two hours, giving you the opportunity to learn about the history and significance of each site.
At the end of your visit to Machu Picchu, you will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you can have lunch in one of the many local restaurants.
📅Return to Cusco
In the afternoon or evening, depending on your train schedule, you will return to Poroy station. The return journey follows the same route as the outbound trip, allowing you to relive the landscapes of the Sacred Valley. Once you arrive at the station, our team will pick you up and take you back to Cusco, where this unforgettable experience comes to an end.
