Luxury Machu Picchu 1-Day Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, and approximately around 08:00 AM, we will pick you up to transfer you to Poroy station, where the luxurious and exclusive Hiram Bingham Train departs, on which you will live a full day of unforgettable experiences.

Considered by Italian Class magazine as one of the best trains for travel in 2008, the Hiram Bingham's cars are distinguished by their blue and gold colors, and their warm and cozy interiors featuring elegant upholstery. This service has four cars: two dining cars, a bar car with observatory, and a kitchen car; it can transport up to 84 passengers.

At noon, you will enjoy a delicious lunch served on board the train; upon arrival at the town of Aguas Calientes, the Hiram Bingham staff will accompany you to board the private bus that will take you to the Machu Picchu citadel, where the guide will start the tour visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Dial, the royal quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, and the cemeteries. The tour lasts approximately two hours, after which you will have some free time to explore the citadel on your own.

In the afternoon, you can enjoy a tea time before boarding the bus that will take you back to the town of Aguas Calientes, where the luxurious Hiram Bingham will be waiting for you. On the way, you will enjoy dinner on board, a music show, and fine wines to cheer up the journey. Upon your arrival in Poroy, we will be waiting to transfer you back to the city of Cusco.
