Rainbow Mountain ATV Tour – 1 Day

The tour begins very early, at 4:00 a.m., with direct pickup from your hotel in the city of Cusco. A comfortable and safe vehicle will take you to this magnificent destination, where the picturesque town of Cusipata is located. During the approximately 2-hour drive, you’ll enjoy the changing landscapes as you enter the heart of the Peruvian Andes.

Upon arrival in Cusipata, it will be the perfect time to recharge with a delicious breakfast. This stop will also give you a chance to learn more about the local culture and prepare for the exciting adventure ahead. After breakfast, you’ll continue the journey for about two more hours along a scenic and narrow road until you reach the point where the ATVs are located. Here, our highly trained staff will provide you with a brief but thorough orientation on how to use the ATVs, ensuring that you feel comfortable and safe before starting the ride. With your ATVs ready, you’ll begin an exhilarating ride along a specially designed route that offers the best views of mountains, snow-capped peaks, and high Andean wildlife. During approximately 45 minutes of thrilling travel, you’ll be amazed by the natural beauty surrounding you as you approach the impressive Rainbow Mountain. Once you reach the starting point of the hike, you’ll enjoy a short 10-minute walk to the top of the mountain. Here, you’ll have plenty of time to admire the incredible landscape, take stunning photos, and learn more about the fascinating history and geology of Vinicunca Mountain and its surroundings. After fully enjoying this breathtaking place, you’ll start your return along the same route on the ATVs.
