1-Day Tour: Machu Picchu + Huayna Picchu

3:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.: Cusco – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes

At approximately 5:00 a.m., our team will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to begin the journey to the train station in Ollantaytambo. From there, you will board the train to Aguas Calientes, enjoying a two-hour ride through stunning Andean landscapes as you descend into the high jungle.

8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.: Exploration of Huayna Picchu and Machu Picchu – Return to Cusco

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, one of our local guides will welcome you and accompany you on the short bus ride to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Your adventure begins with a self-guided hike of approximately two and a half hours up the steep and challenging Huayna Picchu mountain, from where you'll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Inca Citadel and its natural surroundings.

After this experience, we will meet for a shared guided tour of one of the official circuits (1 or 2, depending on availability). You’ll visit key landmarks such as the main viewpoint, the Sacred Rock, the Sacred Plaza, the Temple of the Condor, and many other sites of great historical value.

After the tour ends, around 1:00 p.m., we will return by bus to Aguas Calientes for a well-deserved lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where a private vehicle will take you back to your hotel in Cusco.
