ATV Tour to Maras, Moray, and the Salt Mines

Once gathered, we’ll embark on a short one-hour journey to our base in the Cruzpata sector. Here, you’ll receive detailed instructions on how to operate the ATVs and the necessary safety measures before heading out on the trail. At the same time, ATVs will be assigned, and the adventure begins as we set off toward the viewpoint of the 5 snow-capped peaks.

We’ll start with a 10-minute practice session before beginning our thrilling circuit. During 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours of pure adrenaline, we’ll explore off-road trails, stopping at strategic viewpoints and picturesque spots to capture stunning photos that reflect the authenticity of local life. We’ll observe traditional agriculture up close while discovering the secrets of nature surrounding the Sacred Valley. As an added cultural experience, you’ll have the option to visit the renowned archaeological site of Moray, known as the “Inca Agricultural Experimentation Center” (optional). After concluding our ATV adventure, our transportation will take us to the fascinating Maras Salt Mines (optional entrance), where you’ll witness breathtaking scenery and panoramic views that will leave you in awe. Surrounded by the sacred mountains “La Verónica,” “Waqaywillca,” and “El Chicón,” you’ll enjoy the majesty of the Vilcanota mountain range. At the end of this exciting day, we’ll return to our base in Cruzpata to board our transport back to Cusco.
