The 4-day and 3-night Experience in Cusco is a perfect balance of diverse experiences during your visit to the city of Cusco, allowing us to live an unforgettable adventure in the main places such as Cusco, Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu.
Day 1: Arrival in Cusco and City Tour
Upon arrival, we will be waiting for you at the Cusco airport to transfer you to your hotel.
In the afternoon, we start the Guided Tour of the Imperial City of Cusco, visiting the Main Square, the Cathedral, the Temple of Koricancha, and the nearby archaeological sites of Kenko, Tambomachay, Pucapucara, and the Sacsayhuaman Fortress.
Overnight in Cusco.
Day 2: Excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas
After breakfast, we pick you up from your hotel to take a full-day excursion to the "Sacred Valley of the Incas." Visit to the picturesque town of Pisac and its colorful Artisan Fair.
At noon, we will have a buffet lunch in a tourist restaurant.
In the afternoon, we continue the tour to the Inca Town and Fortress of Ollantaytambo, a gigantic administrative, agricultural, civil, military, and religious complex from the time of the Tawantinsuyo.
In the evening, around 7:00 pm, we board the train to the town of Aguas Calientes, where our representative will be waiting to accommodate you in the hotel.
Around 9:00 pm, our guide will locate you at the hotel to give you the instructions for the next day's excursion to Machu Picchu.
Day 3: Excursion to Machu Picchu.
After breakfast and around 6:00 am, we take the bus to ascend 400 meters in height on a winding road for about 30 minutes until we reach the incredible wonder of the world "The Sanctuary of Machu Picchu," known as "The Lost City of the Incas." Here, we can enjoy the sunrise in Machu Picchu.
In the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, we will start our guided tour, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Dial, the royal quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, and the cemeteries. The tour lasts approximately two hours.
Then, you will be given free time to stroll through the citadel.
Next, we will take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you can have your meals in one of the varied restaurants in the town.
In the late afternoon/evening, we will take the return train to the town of Poroy (depending on the departure time of your train). The return will follow the same route as the outbound journey, and upon arrival at the train station, we will be waiting to transfer you back to the city of Cusco.
Day 4: Return to Lima
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to the airport to take your return flight to Lima.
