Travel Itinerary


Explore the lush Peruvian jungle on an exciting 4-day journey along the famous Inca Jungle Route to the iconic Machu Picchu! This adventure is filled with cultural discovery on this unforgettable trip.

Day 1: Cusco - Santa Maria- Biking

Hotel pickup between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m. and departure to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where we can admire beautiful and picturesque natural attractions. We'll stop after about an hour and a half in the town of Ollantaytambo, where you can have breakfast. Then, we'll continue by car for about another hour to Malaga Pass (4316 meters above sea level), where we'll begin our descent on bicycles after about an hour and a half. We'll stop at the archaeological center of Huamanmarka, where the guide will explain details about the site, then continue through fruit fields and rivers. Arrival in Santa Maria between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m., and during the descent through the valley, we will have the support of our guide and emergency transport accompanying us only until Santa Maria, where we will spend the night. (Lunch, dinner, and accommodation).

Day 2: Santa Maria - Santa Teresa - Hiking

We wake up around 7:00 am and after breakfast begin our walk along the riverbank. Along the way, we can see regional animals such as birds (parrots, hummingbirds, eagles), wild felines, centipedes, lizards, medicinal plants, and fruit trees like bananas, mangoes, oranges, tangerines, cocoa, pacay, and coca, coffee trees, etc. Then we'll arrive at the small village of Quellomayo, where we'll rest and have lunch. After walking for about 1 hour, we'll take transportation to Santa Teresa, arriving around 4:00 pm. (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and accommodation).

Day 3: Santa Teresa - Aguas Calientes

Breakfast will be around 8:00 am, then enjoy the lodge for a couple of hours and do tarzan or canopy activities (not included). Then, around 10:00 am, we'll continue by car to Hidroelectrica, where we'll walk and have lunch along the way, and after about 5 hours we'll be in Aguas Calientes. In the evening, you can stroll through the town and visit the thermal baths (dinner and accommodation included).

Day 4: Machu Picchu - Cusco

In the morning, at 5:00 a.m., we'll wake up and at 5:30 a.m., go to the most important archaeological center, Machu Picchu. We'll take the first bus and after about 25 minutes, we'll arrive at the control and entrance point to Machu Picchu. Once inside, we'll go to the top of Machu Picchu to start the tour of about 2 hours. Then you'll have free time to enjoy Machu Picchu on your own. Afterward, depending on your return ticket schedule, you must go down to Aguas Calientes, and the guide will help you with directions so you don't have problems returning to Ollantaytambo. At the Ollantaytambo station, the transfer waiting for you will take you to the city of Cusco, arriving around 11:00 p.m.
