Upon your arrival, your guide will meet you at the station and take you to your hotel, where you'll receive a brief explanation about the Machu Picchu tour.
The rest of the day is free for you to explore the town. You can walk through the picturesque streets, visit the hot springs to relax, or try the delicious local food at nearby restaurants. Day 2: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco

You have two options to reach the sanctuary: you can take a bus for 20 minutes or walk for approximately one hour along a steep path, but filled with amazing scenery. Regardless of your choice, you'll arrive at the entrance to Machu Picchu, where you'll enjoy a 2-hour guided tour to learn about the main points of interest and the rich history of this magical place.
You can take panoramic photos or walk through the ruins. If you have your entrance ticket to Huayna Picchu (US$ 75.00, advance reservation required), you can enjoy breathtaking views from the summit.
