Embark on an exciting journey to Humantay Lake early in the morning. Enjoy a scenic hike of 1.5 to 2 hours to admire spectacular views, then return to Mollepata for lunch before heading back to Cusco.

📅Pick-up

Wake up early and get ready for an exciting day from the moment our team picks you up from your hotel, promptly between 4:30 a.m. and 4:40 a.m., as previously arranged. We will embark on a vehicle journey of approximately two and a half hours until we reach Mollepata.

In Mollepata, in addition to enjoying a delicious breakfast, once we are ready, we will begin our hike toward the stunning Humantay Lake, located at an altitude of 4,200 meters (13,779 ft).

📅Itinerary

Our first stop will be in Mollepata. After a nourishing breakfast, we will continue by road for approximately 45 minutes until we reach Soraypampa, located at 3,900 m.a.s.l. (12,795 ft).

In Soraypampa, you’ll be greeted by breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers. The ascent takes about an hour and a half to two hours and leads to this beautiful lake located at 4,200 m.a.s.l. (13,779 ft), at the foot of the majestic Salkantay Snow Peak. Once there, you’ll have between 40 minutes and 1 hour to enjoy the serenity and beauty of the surroundings, as well as to capture stunning photographs that will immortalize your experience.

After soaking in the energy of this magical place, we’ll begin our descent back to Soraypampa a hike of approximately one hour. From there, we’ll return to Mollepata, where a delicious lunch will be waiting for you to recharge your energy.
