Live an epic experience of 8 days and 7 nights exploring the treasures of Lima, Huacachina, Ollantaytambo, Machu Picchu, Maras and Moray, Colorful Mountain, Humantay Lake, and more. You will discover the history and natural beauty of Peru while exploring these iconic destinations.
Day 1: Arrival in Lima
Upon your arrival in Lima, our team will meet you at the airport with a sign with your name, and then we will transfer you to your hotel in a private vehicle. You will have some time to rest and prepare for the beginning of your adventure in Peru.
Day 2: Full Day Huacachina - Sandboarding
At around 4:40 AM, we will pick you up from your hotel in Lima and depart towards Paracas by private transport.
Once in Paracas, we will head to the port, where the guide will give recommendations, we will wear life vests, and begin the 2-hour guided tour of the Ballestas Islands, then we will observe the Candelabra and marine life, including guano birds, Humboldt penguins, sea lions, and dolphins.
After the tour, we will have one hour of free time to explore Paracas Bay, take photos, and buy handicrafts. Then we will head to Ica, where we will visit the Nietto winery for a wine and pisco tasting, along with macerates and mistelas.
We will do the adventure circuit in the Huacachina dunes, ride buggies (dune buggy ride) and sandboarding (sliding on boards) for an hour. You will have free time to explore the Huacachina Oasis, take a boat ride, take photos, and shop for local handicrafts.
After the tour, we will return to Lima in private transport, and once back at your hotel, your day full of adventures and unforgettable experiences will conclude.
Day 3: Arrival in Cusco - Acclimatization
Upon your arrival in Cusco, our team will meet you at the airport with a sign with your name for a warm welcome. We will take you to your hotel, where you will receive a welcoming coca tea to help you acclimatize to the altitude. Our staff will assist you with check-in, and you will have free time to rest and adapt to the city's altitude (3,350 m).
Day 4: Sacred Valley Tour with Maras-Moray
We will pick you up from your hotel at 6:30 AM and head to the Moray archaeological center, an ancient Inca agricultural laboratory. Then we will visit the picturesque town of Maras with its Inca and colonial streets, followed by the Maras Salt Mines, where locals still extract salt in an artisanal way. We will pass through Chinchero (3,800 m), which will offer spectacular views of snow-capped mountains and agricultural lands.
We will continue along the banks of the Wilcamayu River to Urubamba, where you will have free time to have lunch. Afterward, we will visit Ollantaytambo, an Inca center where people still use Inca constructions as homes. The tour will end around 4:00 PM, then we will head to the train station to go to Aguas Calientes.
Upon arrival at this village, our staff will meet you at the station and accompany you to your accommodation, where you will meet the Machu Picchu guide to coordinate your visit the next day.
Day 5: Excursion to Machu Picchu
The most important day has arrived! After breakfast, we will head to the bus station to take the bus up to Machu Picchu, a 30-minute journey.
Once there, our guide will take you on a two-hour tour, visiting: The Main Plaza, The Circular Tower, The Sacred Solar Clock, The Royal Rooms, The Temple of the Three Windows, etc.
After the visit, we will return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you can have lunch at a local restaurant or the Sanctuary Lodge Hotel.
Depending on your train ticket time, we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, we will be waiting to take you back to Cusco, completing a day full of history and unique adventure.
Day 6: Humantay Lake Excursion
This day, we will pick you up from your hotel between 4:00 AM and 4:30 AM to start the Humantay Lake tour. We will travel for two hours, enjoying views of the Salkantay snow-capped mountain and the Limatambo Valley, until we reach Mollepata (2,900 m), where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast. Afterward, we will continue for 45 minutes on the road until we reach Soraypampa (3,900 m).
At Soraypampa, our guide will perform a small Andean ritual before beginning the uphill hike to Humantay Lake (4,200 m), which will take between one and two hours. Upon arrival, we will have 40 minutes to an hour to enjoy the tranquility and take photos.
Then, we will descend back to Soraypampa in approximately one hour. Our transport will take us back to Mollepata, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch, and then return to Cusco, arriving around 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM. We will drop you off one street away from the Plaza de Armas due to traffic congestion. This tour offers an enriching experience, filled with stunning landscapes and the serenity of the Andean nature.
Day 7: Excursion to the Rainbow Mountain
We will pick you up from your hotel between 4:10 AM and 4:30 AM to begin the tour. We will head south from Cusco, passing through the town of Urcos and taking the Cusco-Puno road to the district of Cusipata, where we will enjoy breakfast after a two-hour bus ride.
We will continue our journey to Phullawasipata (4,626 m), where we will begin the hike. The ascent will take between one and a half to two hours, allowing us to see snow-capped mountains, locals in traditional clothing, and llama and alpaca herders. We will also admire the high-Andean landscape.
Upon reaching the summit (5,036 m), we will have free time to take photos and enjoy the view. Then, we will start the descent on the same path. OPTIONAL: RETURN THROUGH THE RED VALLEY, a 10 soles extra entry fee will be paid on-site.
After approximately another hour and a half of hiking, we will reach Phullawasipata, where our transport will be waiting to take us for a well-deserved and delicious lunch. We will return to Cusco, and the tour will end with a drop-off one street away from the Plaza de Armas due to traffic congestion in the city.
Day 8: Return to Lima
With great sadness, we will say goodbye at the airport. Our staff will take you to the airport for your flight back to Lima and your return to your home country.
