We depart early from your hotel at 4:30 a.m. for the exciting adventure to the Colored Mountain of Palccoyo, where you will enjoy the scenery and charming villages along the way. After exploring the mountain, we will return to Cusco, a day full of excitement awaits you!
Pick-up
We will pick you up very early at your hotel and go to Palcoyo mountain, this will be a great day of adventure and beautiful experiences.
Tour
We will then travel through the South Valley, making a stop in the town of Checacupe to appreciate the Inca hanging bridge and the colonial bridge. You can take some photos and, if you wish, the group can walk on the hanging bridge. Here, you can also use the restrooms. We continue our journey to the town of Combapata (3,630 meters above sea level). From this point, we will travel on an unpaved road until we reach the Rainbow Mountain of Palccoyo. Along the way, we will pass through the towns of Chiara and the community of Palccoyo, where you can buy some souvenirs. We arrive at a designated point for buses where you can already appreciate the colorful mountains with a view of the Ausangate snow-capped mountain. We will start a brisk walk to explore Palccoyo Mountain, where you can explore the area and enjoy the enigmatic nature. Your adventure will be rewarded with unforgettable moments and wonderful landscapes. At the appropriate time, we will return to our bus and then go to a place where we will enjoy a delicious lunch.
Return
After enjoying a day full of adventure and spectacular scenery, we will return to Cusco by the same route we took in the morning. We will be back in Cusco around 6:00 pm, just in time for you to relax and share all your experiences of the day.
