Around 4:00 in the morning, we will pass by your hotel in the city of Cusco to transfer you to the train station and start the tour located in the town of Ollantaytambo (1 hour and 30 minutes from the city of Cusco).

Aguas Calientes

We will board the train of the "INCA RAIL" company and start the journey to the town of "Aguas Calientes" (2,000 meters above sea level), where our guide will be waiting for you. With him, we will go to the bus station to ascend 400 meters in height along a zigzagging road, for approximately 30 minutes, until we reach "the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu," known as "The Lost City of the Incas."

Machu Picchu

Upon arriving at the Machu Picchu citadel, our guide will begin the guided excursion, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the royal quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, and the cemeteries, for approximately two hours. Afterward, you will have free time to take a walk around the citadel and/or enjoy a meal at one of the various restaurants in Aguas Calientes or, if you prefer, at the Sanctuary Lodge Hotel (lunch is at your own expense).

Return

In the afternoon/evening, we will take the train back to the town of Ollantaytambo (depending on the departure time of your train). The return will follow the same route as the outbound journey, and upon arriving at the train station, we will be waiting to transfer you back to the city of Cusco.
