Day 1: Wiñaywayna - Aguas Calientes

The first day begins early with pickup from your hotel to head to the train station. From there, you'll board a train that will take you to Kilometer 104, where you'll meet your guide to start the hike.

You'll arrive at the first archaeological site, Chachabamba, located at 2,250 meters. As you progress along the Inca Trail, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Urubamba River and the lush vegetation of the cloud forest.

The hike continues to the agricultural center of Wiñaywayna, where we'll take a short break for lunch. Afterwards, we follow the trail toward Machu Picchu, passing through Inti Punku or the Sun Gate, an ideal spot to watch the sunset over the Inca citadel. After this magical experience, you'll descend to Aguas Calientes, where you'll have dinner with your guide and the group before spending the night in a hotel.

You can choose your own accommodation or opt for one of the recommended options from the tour.

Day 2: Machupicchu - Cusco

On our second day, after breakfast, we ascend to visit Machu Picchu, the wonder of the world that sits at 2,400 meters above sea level. The visit will last approximately two and a half hours, during which you'll explore the Inca citadel with your guide, discovering the main points of interest, such as the plazas, temples, sacred fountains, and the agricultural sector.

After the guided tour, if you have a ticket for Huayna Picchu (entrance not included), you can take the opportunity to climb this mountain and enjoy the panoramic views.

Finally, depending on your train schedule, you will return to Aguas Calientes to catch the train to Ollantaytambo or Poroy. There, our transportation will take you back to Cusco, dropping you off at your hotel. This concludes your incredible experience on the 2-day Inca Trail.
