Choquequirao, is a lost city where the Incas took refuge from 1536. Located in the Valley of Vilcabamba – The convention rain forest to 3300 m.s.n.m. This archaeological site is considered as important as Machu Picchu. The journey begins in Cusco. After 145 Km. Of paved road and 10 unpaved road leads to the village Cachora, where born the path of 32 km. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, in the route we can also appreciate the deepest flora and fauna of the Apurimac Canyon World until you reach the “Cradle of Gold” of the Incas.

Day 1: Cusco – Cachora – Chaquisqa (L) (D)
We will pick you from start time 6:00 am to begin the journey to the town of Cachora in the journey we will stop a moment to appreciate the archaeological remains of the bus Tarawasi, and then continue to the Cunyac bridge between the departments of Cusco and Apurimac, then pass by the district Curawasi and Saywute reach Cachora (10:00 approx). This place will begin our hike on a gently sloping path to the pass of Capuliyoc (2800m) and place of our lunch after two hours of walking, we head towards the village of Chaquisqa (1930 m) all the path is lowered and the scenery is awesome and warm weather, in this place we will have our first camp is three hours of walking.
Day 2: Chiquisca – Playa Rosalina -Sunchupata (B) (L) (D)
After breakfast (5:00 am), we will continue our walk towards Playa Rosalina (1550m), then early climb up the hill towards Santa Rosa (2100 masl) where our lunch, this trip is the most difficult which we will in three hours, and then climb up Maranpata (2850 m) which is a more gentle climb during this trip will be seen all the way from the first day and vegetation that exists in this place then go along a right tract towards Sunchupata we will have our camp in this place and walking time is two hours, here it is an hour Choquenquirao.
Day 3: Sunchupata – Choquequirao – Chaquisqa (B) (L) (D)
Very early after breakfast (5:00 am) we will go to Choquenquirao which is an hour walk to see the sunrise at Choquequirao, this site will be visited by three hours always accompanied by a guide who will explain about this important Inca refuge. A time will begin the return to Sunchupata and start descending to Santa Rosa place of our lunch, and then descend to the beach Rosalina that takes about an hour arrival at Rosalinas we will go to the town of Chaquisqa which are two hours Rosalinas and camp here.
Day 4: Chaquisiqa – Capuliyoc – Cachora (B) (L)
A good breakfast will be served in Chaquisqa (06:00 am) and return by the same route to Cachora which is the slope that is low on the first day that is softer with a climb of two hours until step Capuliyoc and here are two hours to the town of Cachora which is a much softer stretch and we will be arriving 12:00 pm approximately, in the journey we will observe exotic flora and fauna as well as views of majestic snowcapped peaks and the impressive canyon of Apurimac. In the afternoon we will move to the medicinal thermal baths of Qonoq where we will rest for an hour and then continue to the city of Cusco where we will arrive at 8:00 pm transfer to hotel and end of our services.
