Continue towards the archaeological complex of Moray, unique in its kind in the region, it is holes or giant natural terraces, where the Incas built platforms or terraces each with its own irrigation system, what is most striking is the annual average temperature change ranging from the surface to the bottom relation to andean weather. It is believed that this farming laboratory was built on a rocky surface, and that is why in rainy season never flooded. We will be one hour on this site to examine its construction and design, then we will sit down to enjoy our box lunch.
Arrive at Salineras or salt wells (located northwest of Maras), where we find 3000 small wells with 1.80 meters deep that are built at the foot of the mountain “Qaqawiñay” that in times of droughts are watered every three days with salt water that exudes a natural spring located at the top of the wells, with the passage of time these wells will go drying displaying a range of colors and textures, the salt wells will go solidifying before being processed for consumption human.
